O/U Column Explanation for Standings
The O/U (Over/Under) column shows how each team is performing in the replay compared to its actual historical win–loss record at the same point in the season.
-
E — Even: The team’s replay record matches its real-life record exactly.
-
+X — Over: The team is performing better in the replay than it did in reality.
-
Example: +2.5 means the team is 2.5 games ahead of its actual pace.
-
-
–X — Under: The team is performing worse in the replay than it did in real life.
-
Example: –1 means the team is one game behind its actual pace.
-
Note on Real-Life Ties:
If the actual season included tie games, each tie is treated as half a win and half a loss when measuring over/under performance.
-
A team gaining more than it did in a tied game results in +0.5.
-
A team underperforming a tied game results in –0.5.
